Very unique

"So much thought in the details! An amazing place. It made me look at the surroundings with a different view; a respect for environment and history. I love all the pieces of machinery included in the design. Merci for such a delightful stay."

Old Leura Dairy offers something truly special. Each of their six lodgings has its own unique character and is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. A really special feature is an outdoor hot tub - an old converted milk vat that was used to collect and cool milk on a dairy. It fits ten people if you don't mind getting friendly. Soak your cares away whilst snow softly drifts down around you, or gaze up at the stars on a warm summer's night. This hot tub is one of a kind!

Old Leura Dairy is located one and a half hours' drive west of Sydney. Leura is a very pretty town with a main street perfect for strolling and browsing. By day enjoy the many cafes and of course the spectacular Blue Mountains scenery. At night, feel the romance as the street twinkles with fairy lights. Take in sweeping views from the Sublime Point Lookout at the end of Sublime Point Road. Other lookouts are at the Gordon Falls Reserve in Olympian Parade and the Leura Cascades off Cliff Drive. Leura is also home to a number of artists and galleries. Exhibitions and festivals are held throughout the year, as well as writing and painting workshops. Leura also has a wealth of shops selling antiques and collectibles.

  • Two things sum up how we felt about this wonderful place - Gabrielle brought up some homework for a yoga course. Her comment was; "now I understand why writers seek places like this to create" and secondly we cancelled our restaurant booking to spend more time in this wonderfully enchanting cottage. Thanks for sharing your talents with others.

  • How fun to stay at this lovely place! The loft was so cosy and warm and we enjoyed the peace and quiet so much. The hot tub let us soak away sore muscles from hiking. What a treat! Thanks so much for making this wonderful place available.
