Over the past 5 years Bannisters has been upgraded and partially rebuilt as a 4.5 star boutique hotel with an informal seaside atmosphere. The cliff top location not only affords breathtaking ocean views, but also allows easy access to the famous surf beach, Mollymook Beach, an easy 5-minute walk. Rick Stein at Bannisters restaurant was recently launched. Rick has the famous Seafood Restaurant in the UK fishing village of Padstow and he has brought his recipes and seafood knowledge to Mollymook. The menu features many of the dishes that work so well over in Padstow but also pays tribute to local ideas on the best ways with a fillet of flathead, a plate of pippies or platter of local oysters and prawns. Fully licensed with one of the finest wine cellars in the area, you can relax on the deck outside or enjoy a view of the ocean from every seat inside the restaurant.
