Somewhere Unique offers a choice of two unique fully self-contained retreats - 'Lowanna' and 'Allawah' - each with their own individual personality.
Both architect-designed retreats are contemporary in style, have interiors that take their inspiration from the pristine country setting and have been created with the natural environment in mind. Each retreat has been strategically placed to ensure privacy for each couple, and thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious, luxurious and romantic ambience.
The retreats have been designed using passive solar principles for your year round comfort, and also to take full advantage of both the view and the natural environment. Lowanna has a northerly aspect and is nestled below a spectacular rocky outcrop with valley views. Allawah also has a northerly aspect and is set in a tranquil bushland setting with valley views. Both retreats have been rated 4.5 star by AAA Tourism, and have also been Green Star accredited.
With an emphasis on privacy, Somewhere Unique is a wonderful setting for a couples-only romantic getaway, a honeymoon to remember, a relaxing holiday, weekend break or for those who wish to escape life's hectic pace and relax in beautiful accommodation.

PRICE PER COUPLE PER NIGHT:
Midweek (Monday to Thursday): AU $220 per couple per night.
Weekends (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday): AU $330 per couple per night.
Weekly (7 nights or more): AU $180 per couple per night.
A 2 night minimum stay applies at Somewhere Unique, except over long weekends when a minimum 3 night stay applies.
Your stay at Somewhere Unique includes a bottle of local wine (your choice... red or white), delicious chocolates and a breakfast hamper on your first morning including: Fresh baked bread, bacon, free range eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, butter, handmade Alpine Berry Farm jam, Vegemite, juice, Brookfarm natural muesli, milk, yoghurt, T2 loose tea, and Byron bay Coffee Company Estate organic coffee. Your breakfast provisions will be waiting for you in your retreat when you arrive, ready for you to cook at your leisure in the morning. The breakfast provisions are generous and should satisfy you for a couple of mornings.
During your stay you'll also receive complimentary use of: bicycles, binoculars and bird book, backpack, picnic hamper and rug, walking and touring maps, selection of CDs, DVDs, books and magazines.
To ensure your stay is private and peaceful, the retreats are not serviced daily, however extra towels are provided. For stays of six nights or more, the retreat will be serviced during your stay.

'Allawah' is from the Aboriginal meaning 'stay here and rest a while'. 'Lowanna' is from the Aboriginal meaning 'a place of beauty and tranquillity'.
Both retreats share the same layout, and are equal in their quality of fixtures, fittings and furnishings. They are however decorated in different colour schemes, and have different outlooks.
