Cedars Mount View is an oasis of luxury and calm in the Hunter Valley. Cedars Mount View has just five elevated cedar cottages, each at the end of their own road, where you will find absolute privacy, wide views and tranquil surrounds. It's a sublime place for romance and relaxation, especially for special occasions or honeymoons. Everything has been thought of for an indulgent getaway - two person spa baths, wood fires and quality audio visual systems, including satellite TV and surround sound.
The cottages at Cedars Mount View were designed so that you could spend your entire stay here. Each one is unique - stylishly decorated, yet warm and welcoming. There are large verandahs for reclining and soaking up the atmosphere and lovely views, as well as a gas BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
Carved out of a eucalypt forest with wide open spaces and cool native forests, Cedars Mount View is a tranquil place where you will discover a real sense of peace.

THE VUE
The latest luxury split level, open plan villa for one couple. Elevated and completely secluded with views to the surrounding mountains. Glass stacker doors open up the front of the building to the outdoors and a huge timber wrap around deck. There's also a private grassed courtyard with BBQ and table and chairs.
Other features include: Plush king size bed with quality linen, goose down doona for winter, lightweight cotton doona for summer, extra blankets and pillows, electric blanket. Sunken spa bath for two, surrounded by two large windows and open to the bedroom and living area. Bathrobes, candles, bath gel, hairdryer. THE TERRACE
Built in September 2005 as a couple's retreat, The Terrace is a 'mirror image' of The Ridge, but with some minor changes to the design. The Terrace is slightly more spacious with a king size bed offering panoramic views, and indulgent, sunken, oval shaped spa for two, where you can watch the 80cm LCD television that's wall mounted over the fire. A DVD/CD player, iPod docking station, satellite TV and surround sound system are also provided for your entertainment. The Terrace is the most private cottage with lots of space around you - in fact you can have a helicopter land right out the front and whisk you off to Bimbadgen Estate for lunch and wine tasting, then enjoy another scenic flight over Wine Country on your way back to The Terrace.

The Ridge is a one bedroom split-level, open plan designed cottage for couples only. The king size bed, double spa, separate bathroom and kitchen are on the upper level. Step down two steps to the living area where there is a wood fire, leather lounge, chaise, timber furnishings, 76cm LCD satellite TV, DVD, iPod docking station and surround sound system. Glass windows and doors wrap around two sides of the cottage and a large timber L shaped deck make the most of the big views and capture north easterly mountain breezes in summer.

THE GUMS
The Gums cottage has two bedrooms with two private bathrooms, which makes it ideal for two couples travelling together, though still a romantic option for one couple. Both spacious bedrooms (separated from each other by the living area for privacy) have wide, rural views over to the mountains. One of the bathrooms has a two person spa bath, with views across to the neighbour's hillside vineyard. Both bedrooms also have access to the front deck through sliding glass doors. The second bedroom's deck has two recliners and a coffee table. There is a custom made day bed in the living area in front of large windows and facing the 68cm TV and wood fire.

THE CREEK
The Creek Cottage overlooks the spring fed 'Cedar Creek'. It is quite secluded with views across the property to the mountains. This cottage is very cosy for just 1 couple, or a great getaway for 2 or 3 couples. There are 2 bedrooms inside the cottage on different levels (with a bathroom each), and a large loft bedroom adjoining the cottage with queen size bed, ensuite and air-conditioning. For couples looking for a romantic retreat there is a double oval spa bath with views in a spacious ensuite off the main bedroom. There is also a 68cm flat screen TV with digital television channels and surround sound system/DVD, and a leather chaise lounge and ottoman for reclining in the living area.
