Wollumbin (the Aboriginal name for Mt Warning) is the first part of Australia to be touched by the new days sunlight. It is a stunning rock formation created some 20 million years ago by a now extinct massive volcanic eruption. This really is a very special and magical part of the world.

Only three lodges are situated on 80 acres of paradise. Each is completely hidden from the others and are over 1/3km apart. So private in fact that the option of hot outdoor showering is an experience that many guests talk about for years to come.
Each lodge at Amazing Wollumbin Palms Retreat is utterly unique. The love and attention to detail that has been built into each of these creations, together with the extra touches like being greeted with homemade afternoon tea, has come from the desire to make your stay an unforgettable one. The hospitality extends to supplying espresso machines and a selection of teas, the option of gluten free bread for breakfast, and vegetarian meals if required. They are also now dog friendly to well mannered pooches. Awaken to the sound of whip birds in the forest outside your window and the smell of freshly baked bread delivered personally to your door.
The lodges at Amazing Wollumbin Palms Retreat are perfect for romantic getaways or honeymoons. Or why not elope to this very beautiful property for your special day? They have created The William Wordsworth Pavilion by the lake for intimate weddings for a maximum of six people. You can organise whatever you want yourself, or leave it all to them.
PRICE PER COUPLE PER NIGHT:
All lodges: Mon-Thu: AU $425 per couple per night. Fri-Sun: AU $465 per couple per night. One night midweek bookings attract a AU $60 surcharge. Discounts apply for stays of 4 nights or more.
A minimum 2 night stay applies on weekends, 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights during Xmas and New Year period.
Your stay includes hot and continental breakfast hamper, fresh hot bread delivered each morning, espresso coffee, selection of teas, port and more.
Amazing Wollumbin Palms Retreat offer a variety of massages including Kahuna, hot stone and reflexology, plus spa treatments and yoga sessions, all in the comfort of your lodge. They can also arrange horse riding in the hills, evening meals in local restaurants or they can even provide you with restaurant standard evening meals in your lodge.

AIR LODGE
A 12 sided 'yurt style' lodge with a self-supporting roof and crafted from eight different native timbers. It is nestled in the rainforest and reached by your own 16 metre foot bridge. The handmade wood furniture together with the teak floor, creates a warm and intimate atmosphere. The privacy created by the forest, the extra outside shower amongst the palm trees and the spa on the verandah also make it the ideal place for a romantic escape or honeymoon.
