Cairns Airport has direct flights from all major Australian cities and from neighbouring countries daily. There is a bus service to Oak Beach and a selection of limousine and rent-a-car services at Cairns Airport Terminal - however we recommend you hire a car if you would like to experience the wonderful countryside.

Interior architect, David Katon of renowned Australian design team, BKH, revamped the original solid 1970's fisherman's cottage into a contemporary beach home that is relaxed and modernist.
thirty-one degrees has an inside outside appeal and open plan lounge/dining, with simple lounging areas that open to either beach or pool. Half the structure is dedicated to louvered glass walls and features a central breezeway to ensure the house is always fresh. Huge 600x600 black slate stone floors and a fresh white palette dominates the interior and exterior, with the simple white and black designer pieces in soft furnishings also dedicated to the theme. The sandy beaches, pebbles, the turquoise sea along with the exotic tropical greenery give a dramatic contrast.
It is no wonder the beach house has been favoured by many design and lifestyle magazines including Harpers Bazaar, Vogue and marie claire. Conde Nast Traveller UK named thirty-one degrees in their international beach house feature as one of the 'Best Beach Houses in the World'. This is such a compliment as the property is not grand or opulent, it is understated in comparison to some of the grand establishments that were competing and missed out. The selection was made after several visits by their discerning team, who were looking for a functional unpretentious beach house with the style factor.
With its own private pool, roof deck and an abundance of lounging areas - thirty-one degrees is a simple, easygoing retreat that has everything you want and nothing you do not. Truly paradise found.
