Little Pig Creek is a little over 2 hours from Sydney or Canberra and easy to find. Kangaroo Valley is close to several national parks and beaches.
From Sydney, it is a little over 2 hours drive south on the Princes Highway. Just through Berry, turn right and follow the signs to Kangaroo Valley over Berry Mountain (approx. 18km). At the âTâ junction with Moss Vale Road, turn right towards Kangaroo Valley. Little Pig Creek is 1km past this junction on the left.
If travelling on the Hume Highway south of Sydney, turn off at Mittagong / Bowral. Follow the signs to Fitzroy Falls, Kangaroo Valley and Nowra. Little Pig Creek is 2km on the other side of the village on the right.
From Canberra, Little Pig Creek is about a 2 1/4 hours drive. Take the Hume Highway towards Sydney. Turn off at the Illawarra Highway and follow the signs to Moss Vale, then Wollongong, Fitzroy Falls and Nowra. Kangaroo Valley is 18km from Fitzroy Falls and is 2km on the other side of the village on the right.
DESCRIPTION:
Little Pig Creek has 2 bedrooms; both are sumptuous and furnished with old oak furniture. The large bathroom houses a beautiful free-standing bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove and fridge/freezer. The living space has two seating areas, TV, DVD, video and CD player. A sandstone corner houses a wood burning heater. There is a gas heater for chilly mornings in the breakfast area. A central ceiling fan provides summer cooling.
French doors open onto a large sail covered deck overlooking the private garden. There is a rustic BBQ over a fireplace. Large picture windows take in the view from inside.
Kangaroo Valley is a spectacular place, totally enclosed by high cliffs. The wide green floor is home to dairy farms, historic buildings and private retreats. The forested slopes lead down to the Kangaroo River, crossed in the village by a castellated, sandstone bridge. The village has most of the usual facilities including some good cafes, restaurants, shops, galleries and a pub. Outside the village, nature supplies the entertainment, with short or long walking tracks, a canoeable river and great scenery. Seven Mile Beach National Park is only half an hours drive away via Berry. The marine park of Jervis Bay / Booderee National Park is 45 minutes drive via Nowra.

Midweek (Monday to Thursday nights): AU $245 to $335 per couple per night.
Weekends (Friday to Sunday nights): AU $275 to $365 per couple per night.
Weekly rate (7 consecutive days): AU $1645 to $2275 per couple.
A 2 night minimum stay applies. 3 night minimum for long weekends, 4 night minimum for Easter/New Year period.
